A Rat-Free DC
ANC 5E has the slowest rodent abatement response time in the entire city, and ranks #9 in Most Dead Animal pickups. Our neighborhood is overrun with rats, and we need the city to step up to help us keep our neighborhood clean.
Expanded Housing
The “Mamo” lot at North Capitol and Florida has been nothing more than dirt for the last 20 years. With a national rise in cost of living, DC residents need more affordable housing more than ever. We need to hold speculative land investors accountable for building.
Safer Streets
The dedicated R Street NW bike lane runs from Massachusetts Avenue NW to the Metropolitan Bike Trail with a break in service in our neighborhood, endangering lives of cyclists commuting across the city. We need to protect the R Street bike lane all the way through to the MBT.
Where is SMD 5E02?
5E02 is bounded by R Street NW on the North, North Capitol Street on the East, Bates St NW and Q St NW on the South, and New Jersey Ave NW on the West.
